Tamalalou a été crée à Conakry (Guinée) en 1993 par Ba Cissoko et Gilles Poizat. La formation initiale comprenait Ba Cissoko (kora, chant), Gilles Poizat (trompette), Kourou Kouyaté (basse), Mor Tall Sene (sabar). Le groupe a été reformé en France dans le cadre du Festival Nuits Métis en 1995-1998, en y invitant d'autres musiciens guinéens et français. ... more
